50,000 Muslims Flood Football Stadium To Celebrate ‘Festival of Sacrifice’
Nearly 50,000 Muslims have gathered inside a US football stadium to celebrate Eid al-Adha, also called the “Festival of Sacrifice.”

Local Minnesota mosques organized the massive event to take place at the US Bank Stadium to celebrate the Islamic holiday which coincides with the Hajj, the annual Islamic pilgrimage to Mecca.

Oh imagine the sacrifices such a loving peaceful cult aren’t they

muslim theology:

This festival is to celebrate Abraham not sacrificing his only son. Except his only recognized son was Isaac. His other son, Ishmael, was born to a slave woman and therefore not legitimate. Abraham told him to gtfo.

It was Isaac, who later went on to become the Jewish nation/race, who was almost sacrificed.

American christians across the country have mass slaughter of turkeys on a festival day called Thanksgiving.

Maybe you should make a hyperbolic thread on that gruesome holiday. ...

Actually, the Quran doesn't state which one of the two sons Abraham almost sacrificed.

Also, the Bible states that Abraham took Hagar as his "wife" and she gave birth to Abraham's 1st born son he named Ishmael. Thus, Ishmael was a legitimate son, same Isaac.

Later, the Bible says that both Ishmael and Isaac together buried their father Abraham when he died.

Here is a tip for you.

If your going to post about biblical subjects. You might consider reading the Bible first. .....

Easter celebrates a resurrection, ya loopy jew.

A resurrection after a SACRIFICE, Dimbulb.

I'm not a loopy Jew (it would be capitalized); I'm a Catholic who escaped.

More to the point they build a whole cult around a man nailed in hapless agony onto a cross, meaning "sacrifice" is the entire starting point of the whole song and dance. Which makes it juuuuust a bit on the ironic side to then go "look! sacrifice, how primitive!"

Yes, I understand. muslims believe it was a simple clerical error which was corrected millennia later. :)

I've always wondered about the night ride. Why would mohammed fly to heaven seeking advice from historical Jews? Moses even did him a turn, jewing God down to praying 5 times a day. Then mohammed fell in love with a 6-year old (girl, I think) and turned on his Jewish mentors, where they remain mortal enemies to this day.

Thanksgiving is an American secular holiday. All faiths, as well as agnostics and atheists are welcome to celebrate.
