$400 million lithium battery plant coming to St. Louis...

I wonder if it will have a cancer ward for the children being forced to mine the fatal cobalt laden dust? Maybe Fauci will send them little paper masks to wear...

rejoice

And for you "environmentalists" out there rejoicing, In order to go the ev route, half of the earth will have to look like this to fill the quota for earth minerals. The other half will be needed for burying the toxic batteries, So, climate change, climate change my ass:

And 40,000 of those workers down there are children, some as young as 6.
So, Go spend a year there, doing their job, with no Fauci mask, and then come back and rejoice much...

No, low IQs always think the worst. Recycling in the US will also include safe plants to recycle lithium and surprisingly, microorganisms will be helping do that. One candidate is Acidothiobacillus ferrooxidans.

Batteries should be standardized so that vending machines will eliminate the need to wait for charging. At the recycling plant, possibly in Ohio, automated battery disassembly will occur (robots), thus addressing the toxicity parameter.

Chinese are already doing lithium recycling with Acidothiobacillus, suggesting that Americans save as much personal spent lithium as possible and do not give it to the Chinese for any reason, even price.

Too bad the petulant democrat mouthpiece reversed trump’s move to open up mining in the US for rare earth minerals necessary for electric world development.
Too bad we have to now purchase those ingredients from China and Russia.
Too bad your view is cyclopian, like a frog's from the bottom of a well.

L-I technology for hand drills is fine. Even weed trimmers.

For vehicles? Hell no!

But there is no way we can generate the necessary electricity to run this electric fantasy world.

Ohio will fight that.
Please try not to be so obviously dense. Screwing the Chinese for exploiting child labor is built into the information in post #7.
The lithium and the children you are exploiting are in Africa...

Chinese are exploiting, not badger. So what if they're African children? You should double-check your Ohio media, recalling something along these lines a few months ago in the news. If not Ohio, Midwest still sounds appropriate.
