Sallow, I don't disagree with the premise of Republicans having bad ideas and ideas about policy that help them and their elitist friends. Most dont even deny it.

My question is, just what ideas do democrats have, in particular the current administration, as to not go searching for old ideas, that are good for the country?

Most governors used the stimulus money to plug holes in their budgets. And the holes were a result of tax cuts.

You have your concepts mixed up LOL. The GOP never said wages and benefits cause unemployment. That's a democrat party issue. Lavish benefits and wages to government workers paid for by taxpayers is a burdon on the economy. Didn't you notice the smirk on Obama's face when he made a joke that "the shovel ready jobs weren't shovel ready"? Government created jobs are a smoke and mirrors ploy. It's a temporary shifting of taxpayer money from one segment of the population to another. Government doesn't earn a dime. It confiscates money from the private sector.

What a joke. Lavish wages and benefits.

Government GIVES money to the private sector. Our money.

Those missiles are not built by government workers..they are built by Raytheon.

Those military vehicles are not built by government workers..they are built by General Dynamics and GM.

And the fat cats with millions they are just sitting on..eat your lunch..and drink your milkshake.

And all you seem to do is encourage them to get more.

Yes, government takes money from the private sector and then spends it (more inefficiently). The government pays GM and Dynamics to produce machines to destroy rather than vehicles consumers could use to produce. Those jobs would not exist if government did not create them, and they shouldn't. If the money was never taken away in the first place, jobs would be created that serve private individuals and consumer instead of politics.
