Another win for normal people......remember, the Right to keep and bear arms applies to all bearable arms....

Some good news, for a change, on November 3, 2022 the prohibitions on switchblade knives in the Commonwealth have been repealed. While the repeal does not come into force until January 2nd of 2023, this is still cause for celebration. Knife Rights, a pro Second Amendment organization that focuses on bladed bearable arms, announced this wonderful news.

Just make sure you KNOW how to fight with a bladed weapon.

Yep...use a gun if they have a knife.......shoot them in the hip........

Also, take up the Filipino martial arts......some styles are more knife focused than others.

They included switchblades in our concealed carry law when it was passed back in 2010. Also chemical agents like Mace, as well as billy clubs. Spring-actuated knives are pretty expensive though, going up to the cost of several hundred dollars for a good one. Gerber makes some good low-priced spring-assisted knives, which requires a little push with the thumb before the spring flips the blade out. The one I'm carrying ran a little over $30.

They've been legal here in Texas for a long time.
This is the one I carry....

You best have a good grip on it when you hit the button or it'll jump out of your hand.
