2018 NFL Draft

That helped them a lot. Where are they playing now, a renovated Mexican whore house?

FedEx Field, formerly Jack Kent Cooke Stadium, in Landover Maryland. They still sell out the 75,000+ seat stadium each week. The parking and advertising have increased their revenue streams considerably. Until AT&T Stadium in Dallas opened it was the largest stadium in the league.

It would be more helpful if the 1994 CBA hadn't limited what they can do spend on players via a salary cap or forced revenue sharing down their throats.
How long have you had this Foreskin affliction?
watch it im a Redskin fan as well have been for 40 years .
At least you can remember the good ole days

Pity the young Redskin fan

49 eras take........Mike McGlinchy T ND

Jimmy Garappolo gets some protection
I personally love O-Line picks. Investment in infrastructure is a wise decision.

You too played on the O line?
Tight End....only HS ball though.

Left tackle on O, Nose Tackle on D Baseball was my first love, and only played football in HS.

Yeah, I think that is most folks. Have a go at it in HS and move on.

Agree.

Cleveland....
Baker Mayfield

Hate to say it, but I think they blew another QB pick
I have watched this guy, great arm great accuracy. The question is will he have any targets to throw to and will he live on his back. Not to many people throw many touch downs with 3 linebackers and two tackles in their face! Hey maybe we will win one this year! Old Art has the light on for ya! I have a rope for him! I am not sure how happy I am with the Ward pick either the Buckeyes had real issues with teams that could throw the ball this year. Unfortunately it becomes harder and harder for me to belive each year!

He should have targets. Landry may have been overpaid, but he's a good slot receiver. Josh Gordon is a beast....or was, and might still be, if he can stop screwing up his career. I think Corey Coleman has potential, too. Having time to make the throws could be a problem, of course.

Washington is a poorly run franchise

Only compared to communism-loving teams like the Patriots. I would rather watch the Redskins go 0-16 building the team as close to the right way as possible than to see them win a Super Bowl the way the Patriots have done it.

I hate to break it to you, but the "right way" to build an NFL team is whichever way wins Super Bowls. Winning Super Bowls is pretty much the be all, end all of NFL teams.

To be fair, you might argue that making money is really the goal of NFL teams, but probably the best way to do that is to win some Super Bowls. :)

The Socialist/Communist way of doing things is NEVER the Right way to do things. The entire NFL Organization has moved to a Socialist model with the Salary Cap. Revenue Sharing, and a League First - Team Second leadership structure that expects team owners to be more concerned about the betterment of the League than their own team.

If you don't like how the NFL works, why watch? You seem to spend a whole lot of time paying attention to things you don't like. Of course, you don't seem to like anything. :p

You're right. There are very few things in this world that bring, or ever have brought me pleasure in life.

At one time in my life the Washington Redskins were one of those things. So I keep watching in the vain hope that maybe something positive will happen and they will bring me pleasure again. I doubt it, but i hope.

Just as i do with quite a few other things in life. I do not expect any of them to occur, but us hate to miss it in the event that they do.

Unfortunately all too often what actually happens only enrages and infuriates me even more.

That is exactly what made the NFL the dominant sport today

Its also what turned me from a football fan into a fan of a single team only. I used to watch every NFL game I could. Now it's Redskins games only. No playoffs or Super Bowl unless Washington is involved.
