This is a disturbing example of the Republicans meat-ax approach to cutting every aspect of the government, no matter how essential, said Senate Democratic Policy Committee Chairman Charles Schumer (N.Y.) in a statement to The Hill.

Last year, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton warned that Republicans proposed cuts to her department would be detrimental to Americas national security a charge Republicans rejected.
Ryan, Issa and other House Republicans voted for an amendment in 2009 to cut $1.2 billion from State operations, including funds for 300 more diplomatic security positions. Under Ryans budget, non-defense discretionary spending, which includes State Department funding, would be slashed nearly 20 percent in 2014, which would translate to more than $400 million in additional cuts to embassy security.

Everything given to this administration has been tainted by Republican first. Was I right? Republicans have caused more damage to the country than al Qaeda? Imagine the damage they could do if they officially worked together? Instead of Republicans wasting so much time saying government can't do anything right and then making sure that happens. Seems like every time Republicans blame something on Democrats, we only have to wait a day to find out it started with Republicans.
Libay happened because armed US security was requested and the Obama-Clinton State Department did not want to give it to them since the host country did not want the US to have armed security. Budget had noting to do with it.
