15.2% Premium Increase at my Company

I was able to look at our insurance options for 2014 this morning. My company, which employs roughly 65,000 people, is offering the same plans as this year, but the premiums will increase 15.2% across the board. Among the reasons cited: "Premium increases also result from additional fees we are required to pay the federal government resulting from the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA)."

Didn't the president say that premiums for a family of four would decrease $2500 a year?

You can't add more coverage onto the Insurance Companies and not expect prices to rise.

A whole bunch of us here on the board was telling you all that this would happen but the lefties would not believe it.
