I think what they are saying is that by reducing the requirements of the test, you get more false positives.
And there are so many other corona viruses, that they were deliberately trying to make covid-19 infections appear more common than they really are.

But masks do not help prevent illness or death.
The only thing that does is ending the epidemic after achieving herd immunity.
