Truth is something that doesn't go away just because you don't like it or disagree. But when it comes to words, dialogue etc truth has little substance as humans pick and choose their truths. Human truth is based on knowledge, verifiable knowledge that is open to observation and testing and consequences. I define "TRUTH" or something that's "TRUE" as a statement or belief that is ACCURATE using evidence and logical reasoning.
Truth is important in the court of law.
For example, when courts assessed claims that the 2020 Presidential election was "stolen", they concluded the claims did not have reasonable evidence, let alone solid evidence, and were therefore, NOT TRUTHFUL.
