The government is banning a foreign entity from collecting information on its citizens by requiring the US version to be sold away from the Communist Party of China.

Nope. They ordered tikok to sell to an "approved" CIA stooge buyer or they will be banned in the USA. Government doesn't like the content being shared on the app and they want to censor it.
