But there is data, and it isn't friendly to the Co2 FRAUD, which is why the Co2 FRAUD fudges everything they think they need to fool morons. But they did not fudge surface atmospheric (air) pressure. They didn't "think that through." After they read this, there will be a "need" to "re-check" the surface air pressure data and fudge it from a flat line to an upward slop. Why?

Very simple.

When Earth warms, it experiences a net ice melt of ice age glacier. Trapped in that ice is compressed gas. Indeed, the compression factor deep in Antarctica is 20-50 to 1, and that's millions of cubic miles.

What does the data say about the last time Earth was... WARM.... ie no or little land near the poles = no or little ice.

leads us to conclude that the atmospheric pressure at the time of the quetzalcoatlus had to be about 3.2-4.8 bar. This is significantly greater than today's 1 bar.

I can find other things that document the evidence that during Jurassic, for example, the surface air pressure was higher.


Surface air pressure is an absolute smoking gun that blows away the Co2 FRAUD's narrative.

What affects surface air pressure?


1. burning hydrocarbons - releases Co2 and H2O that was buried. Result = 1% of 1% of the atmosphere is now "man made Co2." Or 0.9999 of the atmosphere is not.... NOT DISPUTED = effect = increases atmospheric gas total and increases surface air pressure (very slightly) and should also raise ocean level (very very slightly) - INCREASE

2. temperature - the Co2 FRAUD says Earth is warming. If so, that would INCREASE surface air pressure.

3. ice - the Co2 FRAUD claims Earth is experiencing a Net Ice Melt. If so, that would release a huge amount of gas trapped in the glaciers and hence once again INCREASE surface air pressure.

In a force constrained atmosphere of given planet, the surface air pressure is first about the mass of the gas over the surface. How high vertically that goes doesn't matter, same mass all else constant. Whether the "increased heat caused" expansion negates the faster molecular activity due to heat rise is something you have yet to offer any evidence one way or the other in regards to surface air pressure.


But that is peanuts as is hydrocarbons.

The variable that matters most by far for Surface Air Pressure is quantity of gas trapped in ice.
