I have seen a variety of translations of the chants and they don't all match up, so I'm not convinced I actually have good information about the translation. That said, Hebrew-speaking sources generally agree that it is typical football bullshit, but also ugly. Football fans are generally assholes across the board, so, there is that. (Hockey riots in Canada are much more respectful). Also, * waves generally at men celebrating violence in the form of sports and riots after sports *, gross.

The answer to your question about chants is, nope, not okay.

With respect to vandalizing, I've seen two short videos of football fans taking down Palestinian flags. Technically vandalization, but dude, take a chill. If I had a penny for every Israeli flag removed or burnt, I'd be a freaking millionaire.

So, do I love it? Nope.

Now. Dude. If I hang an Israeli flag outside my house. And you come along the night before a football game and rip it off my house ... does that mean I get to run over anyone on your team in my car the next night? Do I get to chase your teammates down and stab them? Do I get to beat your teammates with a club until they are unconscious.

Do you condemn that?
