There are definitely a lot of components that they didnt steal, like maybe its radar system, or its engines, but they did at least get its basic design. If the US sells some to the Saudis, they wont get every new component of the plane. They will give them older, shittier radar tech, etc.

It seems unlikely that they stole EVERY F-35 component schematic. They got some, but not all, and the US likely knows which ones they havent stole. The US wont give the Saudis anything that we dont want to be stolen.

Military aircraft go into service for decades before we discontinue their program. Over those decades they upgrade and build new versions of it, but we also still maintain and use the older versions too. When the US sells planes to another nation, they get the super old versions of them.

The Saudis arent getting 2025 F-35s, they are getting 2006 F-35s. There are massive differences between those years.
