Something similar happened to me in middle school. I desperately needed to use the bathroom and the teacher refused me permission, so eventually, I just left the room and attended to business. What that teacher did was tantamount to abducting the child, by physically denying her the freedom to see to an important need.

She should have just slammed the teacher to the floor and gone into the bathroom. The teacher struck the first blow by physically blocking her free access to what she needed -- the ability to satisfy a very immediate biological need.

If another was restroom was available, she should've tried to get to it and if she was followed by the "teacher", a good kicking where it counts would've been completely justified in my opinion especially if the girl was going through her period. During the clip it is said that the girl is twelve years old and so going through her period very much could've been what she was dealing with.
