Yes Russia influences election

GB has been trying to influence elections in other countries for centuries. Why is that viewed as a positive thing?

If a country is operating on behalf of their citizens and its values, why wouldn't you want to ensure you have friendly nations who can help promote and further your interests?

bribery in any form is still bribery.

The world isn't all sunshine and rainbows.

Protect your domestic freedoms and civil liberties. Demand that allies and enemies alike do the same or else decrease economic trade and the relationship. Work to influence, persuade and/or manipulate other nations governments so that they share a similar view of the world. Leverage this relationship for a win/win (perceived or otherwise) with the end goal of increasing your citizens standard of living and freedoms.

the voting and governmental systems of other nations are none of our business. We should select our trading partners based on value, not politics. For example, what would be the harm in a mutually beneficial trade relationship with Russia? Isn't that better than war?

You can trade with nations if they have something you can't produce yourself. Within reason.

There is a reason there has been a full boycott of Cuban products. You don't weaponize your enemies or those who have been willing to risk your national security.

War is the main industry of the Empire, peace just doesn't pay as good that's why they want the war in Ukraine to continue, disgusting creatures.

all true and in agreement with what I said

"

Russian cash-for-votes flows into Moldova as nation heads to polls"

"
The sniffer dogs at Chisinau Airport have been working extra hard in recent months, searching for money that might be evidence of Russian meddling in Moldovan politics.

Ami, a black retriever, gives every suitcase that rolls in on the baggage claim belts a good sniff on all sides. If she detects cash, she will freeze. Back in May she was doing that a lot.

That is when customs officers began finding large amounts of money on passengers arriving via connecting flights from Moscow. People who had never left Moldova before were returning from a few days in Russia with wads of notes.

“Almost everyone had money: 2,000, 3,000, 7,000 euros”, the head of customs at Chisinau Airport, Ruslan Alexandrov, remembers. The amounts themselves were not illegal but the patterns were suspicious."

Yeah, Russia is playing dirty, and with Putin in charge always will. Are they influencing the US election, almost certainly. Maybe they're not paying money like this... because the US elections will cost far, far more to influence, but doing it in other ways.

It must be nice to live in your secure little bubble, you don't think we do it too?
