I generally support the right of the transgendered to be accepted in their chosen role.

But we have women’s sports for a reason. Women cannot physically compete with men and in some cases it is not safe to do so.

Anyone who has gone through puberty as a male should not compete in women’s sports

The democrat party regards minorities with contempt, and as exhibited by your post, attack any for daring to think for themselves. Your standard would have them wait until all that stops before voting for democrats. Oddly enough, I think that is where this is really going to shake out in society, especially as women refuse to compete against biological men. No one will televise a man splashing around in a pool all by himself, for just one example.

Unfortunately the vast majority of those in higher education have gone full woke and participate in the agenda to dismantle traditional American culture and replace shared values with irrational concepts that keep us off balance and disoriented and therefore easier to manipulate and control.

It is the same agenda that promoted violent pro-Palestinian demonstrations on campus and maligned and mistreated and attacked Jewish students. It allows students to threaten and protest against speakers on campus that they disagree with. It promotes safe places for students so they don't have to be exposed to any people, images, concepts they disagree with.

That would never have happened in previous generations when we all still had some common sense and propriety. The end result is pure indoctrination of students with little education going on.

If a man wants to pretend he's a woman have at it but don't expect or demand normal people to buy into or even tolerate it and certainly don't use athletics to promote an obvious advantage. Those female athletes don't deserve it. It's THEIR sport
