This is horrible. She should sue the police department and they should be held accountable for this. Absolutely NO excuse whatsoever for them not to get their facts straight before the arrest.

Yeah I agree with you one hundred percent and the date is exactly why I didn't post this story in current events. My neighbor who is a retired police officer would be shaking his head and probably want to kick their butts too even though he knows he can't but that doesn't mean he isn't human like the rest of us and feels exactly the same way we do about the situation.


He has come right out and said that he would risk prison to mess up a child abuser although he shouldn't have to to protect children. I bet that he was a great cop. As he sure is a good person. Unfortunately, way too many of them aren't though and that's why they suffer such a bad reputation.

His whole entire attitude is it isn't illegal to be human and have emotions and to be angry about a lot of the horrible stuff in the world today, but we just have to control that anger. I think that you're a Potter fan right?

The police always defer to "the process" but at every step they have the discretion to interrupt the 'process'. If she were less good looking, they would have let her go. Cops are Neanderthals.

The police actions appear to be entirely criminal.
I don't get it at all.
I could see if she was poor and fit a profile, but her obvious wealth made guilt so highly unlikely as to be absurd.
A high speed chase means they should have had plates and registration for an absolute identity check.
So there is no reason at all not to get the name right.

More and more we see cases where cops are simply acting like assholes because they think they can get away with it.

That one piece of shit in Loveland Co that broke that poor 72 year old woman with dementia's arm, then laughed about it while not taking her to the hospital.

Or that cop in KC that has killed at least two, and has multiple complaints of excessive force, or how about that PD that raided the newspaper in that small town in Kansas leading to the death of the newspapers owner.

Every week we hear of an abuse of power.
