So she sat there for 10-minutes while he whacked it while "waiting for someone to come."

I guess she never heard tell of Phrasing.

I'm confused, if she felt threatened was she blocked from walking back to her car, and how would calling police escalate whatever situation she's in? I get her message of women should be able to walk on a trail without feeling threaten, but she kinda comes across as a Karen. OMG I really need to get over my fear of guns, because I don't want to be a Karen...

That woman is right about an enemy winning if you change the way that your life has been going. Do not let them ruin something that was a good time for you before you had anything to do with them.
