I just fail to see HOW you can forget a child...I take all 4 of mine with me pretty much everywhere I go since its summer time and even if all 4 are asleep like they were on our recent trip I didn't forget them! Life is busy I know that but damn folks...

Affirmitive defense if a child or even pet's inside a hot car to smash out the window.

Good for her. I would have done the same for a kid or a dog.

The parents should be prosecuted.

Sadly some people do not care enough anymore and that is if they have ever cared at all any.

No charges filed though. That's pretty strange. Could the car have been running with the air on? No wonder the kid was crying with a strange woman beating on the window with a stick.
