Well I don't personally subscribe to communism, but do think socialist policies naturally emerge from a true democracy (rather than our representative democracy). When the public are able to actively participate in democracy (voting on actual policies as opposed to simply voting for a person) then the majority (who are poor or close too) can enact policies that suit them rather than a wealthy minority.
You don't see the problem, disparities, corruption, lack of democracy for all when there is a pure majority rule? A representative republic, as the USA is designed, ensures that all Americans have at least some influence and are not subjected to the will of a self-serving majority that will invariably trample on the rights of others.
Because that majority will invariably be self-serving at the expense of all others but still needs somebody in charge of various functions, it is much more susceptible to being manipulated by Marxist 'idealists' who appeal to that majority and will likely put the Marxists in power.
The ultimate goal is never pure communism however. Once totalitarian government is achieved, no government has ever been willing to give that up so that pure communism--a totally unrealistic concept as it does not take human nature into the equation--can exist.
A representative republic is no guarantee that we'll get good government, but it is the only insurance the people have against a tyranny of the majority that invariably ends in totalitarianism.
The kids won't be taught that by the woke in math class or any other class though.
They'll be taught that it isn't fair that the Republican has a bull and cow that produce calves resulting in calves and milk production that he sells for profit thus putting more cows and a steady supply of milk into the world. The Democrats, practicing majority rule 'democracy' and resulting socialism, will take both animals and feel righteous when the bull is given to the poor to be butchered for temporary food. And when the one remaining cow is unable to reproduce to create more cows or produce milk it too will be slaughtered and there will be no cows or milk.
And it will be Trump's fault.
