Most miscarriages occur in the first trimester. The fetal tissue is passed and flushed. There is no possibility of harvesting the tissue. Abortion is the most reasonable way of harvesting the fetal tissue. Many women who must choose abortion, want some good to come of it and so offer to donate the tissue for research. PP is not selling the tissue, rather donating it for research.
