Republicans have almost certainly won every popular vote since 1964. The cheating-using-illegals started in the early 80s, but didn't make a difference until 1992. By 2008, it was in full force. Trump won so handily in 2016, the Democrats weren't prepared, but they didn't make the same mistake in 2020. What's amazing to me is the pollsters are allowed to give Trump the edge this late in the 2024 campaign. The polls were supposed to line up with the steal. So now if Trump is ahead in the polls and the Democrats steal it, get ready for a lot worse than Jan 6.
