Will Trump smoke sleepy Joe in the debates, propelling Trump to victory?

Will voters care what even happens in the debates (IE, they would have already made up their minds anyway)?

The only thing that will really matter is, "It's the economy, stupid".

I'm going with the economy. If the economy is going good (not just Biden telling us it's going good) then he wins. If the economy is going bad (despite Biden trying to tell us how good things are) then they will elect Trump, even if he's sitting in a jail cell.

If Trump didn't debate Hillary he would have lost. He lost the debates but he would have lost EVERYTHING if he didn't debate her.

Joe won and it was smart not to debate Trump. Why give him any credibility. And we all knew where Trump stood on things.
