REAGAN HAZY ON IRAN-CONTRA
Former President Ronald Reagan, in testimony made public Thursday, said he had no recollection of ever being told that profits from Iran weapons sales were diverted to the Nicaraguan contras, and t…www.chicagotribune.com
Was he lying?And?
I could go back to the office where I worked and not remember a lot of names of the people I worked with. Was he lying?
He didn’t recognize members of his own administration
Here is moreIf I remember correctly, his son Ron, was trying to sell his book
and had said that Reagan had Alzheimer's while still in office.
But their relationship was contentious at best and the truth came
out that it was just BS.
That is not true. The ******* media spread this rumor. It was pure fiction. Was he lying?
He didn’t recognize members of his own administration
You know he was toast. That is not true. The ******* media spread this rumor. It was pure fiction.
Right.I will opine on who has Alzheimers right now. Biden has the disease.
Just as I predicted two years ago that Biden would not be renominated, I am now predicting that President Trump will retire after the 2026 elections. He is still mentally sharp and energetic, but time stands still for no one. He has already cemented his unique place in American history, and his initiatives will be well on their way to fruition.
However he will turn 80 years old next year, and he certainly doesn't want to repeat Biden's (or Reagan's) decline. Actually, his early retirement would represent another patriotic feather in his cap by demonstrating his commitment to country over personal benefit. If the GOP retains control of Congress in 2026, he would then be feted as one of America's greatest Presidents. If the Dems regained control, his departure would rob them of another demented attempt to remove him from office. Either way, he would go out as a winner.
Tell you what, I proved Reagan when president got Alzheimers 6 years after leaving office. What is your proof with names accusing him, that he had it. His son Ron said that medically his dad did not show signs. You know he was toast.
You just don’t wanna admit it.
Whatever gramps
Right.
Reagan didn’t but Biden does
Ya know who else has it?
You
My mind is sharper than yours by far.Right.
Reagan didn’t but Biden does
Ya know who else has it?
You
He cannot run for a third term and he has given no signs whatsoever of any political ambitions beyond this presidency. I said he will retire after the 2026 elections. That means he would not run in 2028, even if he could. He cannot run for a third term
I expect he will still participate in the 2026 elections to keep a GOP controlled House and Senate and again in 2028 to help his successor of choice--I'm betting on J.D.--win as well as keep a GOP controlled House and Senate. And it's possible he might hold a rally now and then afterwards as he really enjoys those rallies.I said he will retire after the 2026 elections. I'm guessing he will keep his hand in his businesses via chairing the board and he will no doubt step up to give assistance in situations in large scale city or state problems as is his trade mark.
But I'm guessing he'll also give himself a lot more time to play golf and just enjoy his retirement years after he hands the reins over to to J.D. or some other good MAGA who shares his vision for what American can and should be.
He has already turned his business interests over to his sons to run.
