It is a good question.

Trump has said he doesn’t think the hostages are still alive, didn't he? Gaza has been bombed to such a high level, not sure what good bombing it more will do? It will make the US look bad.

Maybe he will force a true ceasefire and any hostages still alive will be swapped for Palestinian prisoners?

I think he will put pressure on Egypt to open their border and take refugees.

The US needs to mediate this whole conflict and end it.

A short term ceasefire to facilitate the release of hostages may be possible but is unlikely, but a long term ceasefire is impossible. Hamas wants to release the hostages for an Israeli withdrawal that will leave Hamas in charge of Gaza, but Israel has changed the script and this war will not end until all the terrorists along with their weapons and military infrastructure have been destroyed and Israel will maintain security control over Gaza for the foreseeable future.

Unlike the Biden administration that promoted false claims of famine and starvation in Gaza and false charges of Israeli war crimes, it is hoped that Trump will publicly support Israel's effort to eradicate the terrorist from Gaza and provide whatever weapons Israel needs to get the job done.

Trump never supported Israel's lies and will not support the illegal invasion of Gaza.

The illegal starvation blockade of Gaza is well documented.

Terrorists are those who use violence to extort that which they have no right to.
But that can only apply to Israel, since all the properties in both Palestine and Israel are legally owned by the ancestral native Palestinians.

The British census data from 1922 show that Israel has no legal right to exist at all, and are invading illegal immigrants.
