Well, there were options, and there still there, assuming the gop pulls it's head out of Ted Cruz's ass. We can have very cheap plans for younger workers and not require them to subsidize older workers by simply getting the money from elsewhere, for example. We can have no penalty and no mandate, but instead a very stiff penalty for anyone who gets sick w/o insurance and needs to sign up while ill. That's essentially how medicare works, and people do tend to behave in their own interests, when give full information and freedom of choice. Which is what Reagan preached.

TRICKS!! GIMMACKS!!!

A) Admit there NEVER were 46 million or 50 million people who WANTED health insurance or were legally able to get health insurance!
10 million are not Citizens... 14 million that said there were uninsured.. ALL NEED TO DO is register with Medicaid!
18 million DON'T want or NEED health insurance!! Add them up to 42 million!

That leaves less then 5 million!

So what is wrong with taxing lawyers 10%? Using the $27 billion to pay the premiums for the 5 million that want and need insurance?

WHAT is wrong with that simple approach? After all ACA taxed tanning salons... WHY not LAWYERS?
After all fear of being sued costs the Health care system $850 billion in wasted duplicate tests,etc. these are the facts that 90% of
doctors surveyed say they do... simply out of fear of being sued!
So why not tax lawyers???
