Dalai Lama says 'Europe belongs to Europeans' and refugees should ultimately go back home

I just wondered now that the Dalai Lama has become a heretic.

"I think Europe belongs to the Europeans. ... “Receive them, help them, educate them … but ultimately they should develop their own country."

I wonder how this will play out among the "Bumper Sticker Intellectual" crowd. Will they replace them with stickers advocating Tibet's annexation by China?
