First, as Boasberg wrote in his order, the government has the opportunity to "purge" the contempt finding simply by complying with the original order. In the Venezuelan case, that would mean giving the men sent to El Salvador the chance to argue that they should not have been deported.

In the Abrego Garcia case, Xinis has ordered that officials show what efforts they have made to facilitate his return before she decides what to do next. If Abrego Garcia is returned to the United States during that time frame that would presumably resolve the issue.
If the government still does not come into compliance, then both judges can seek to take further action.

Read for yourself the option. I dont see the judges taking any action. To do so would invite Trump to refuse and claim to take the high ground by protecting Maryland women from the illegal alien, for example.

Trump makes absurd claims all the time. First, trump would have to prove he was a danger to Maryland women. The political prisoner in question has never been convicted of any crime in any country.

His own wife filed court papers for a protective order, so the danger is clear.

Don't believe that illegals are a danger to women, ask Rachel Morin's family.

Count on it. The Stalinist Democrats are literally throwing EVERYTHING against the wall to see if anything sticks. Just like they tried with their laughable 92 indictments against Trump, it will be never ending law fare for the next 3 and 1/2 years.

Please provide details of claimed protective order. Was he convicted of assault, battery, or any behavior indicative of reasons for protective order? Was that one woman the only person requesting a protective order, or did it include all women of that state?

westwall
Please list convictions received by that political prisoner.

The wife seeking a protective order after he beat and punched her. Membership in a violent gang.
So an accusation is all that's required? Have you ever heard about anyone who has been falsely accused? Perhaps a father in a child custody case?

Sworn testimony (otherwise known as evidence)? Yup, that is all that is required.

This is not a child custody case. This is the deportation of a violent terrorist.

Jennifer Vasquez sought and received a temporary protective order in civil court against Kilmar Abrego Garcia in May 2021, per court records filed in Prince George's County District Court. The order alleges Abrego Garcia "punched and scratched" Vasquez, "ripped off" her shirt and "grabbed and bruised" her — though she has since said she didn't move forward with the court process because the situation "did not escalate."

it turns out that murderers are almost always convicted after the commit a murder, not before. So, we literally have to wait until they kill someone AND get caught before we lock them up. Sad.

But in the case of this particular wife-beating suspected terrorist, he was in the country illegally, so he got a plane ride back home before an American woman died.

That was his wife, the mother of his children. If she wasn't safe from him, why would other women be?

I wasn't aware that the movie Minority Report was a documentary.

You think a criminal conviction is the only way to show someone is dangerous?
Why not? YOU think it's the only way to prove someone was an insurrectionist.

We don't need floating psychics to predict that a man who abuses a woman, who then stays with him, will do it again. Any police officer or worker at a women's shelter can verify that.

But, please. Continue to side with the abuser no matter what. The more strident you are, the more seats you will lose in 2026.

Besides, he ain't coming to the U.S. again, so the women of Maryland need never fear him, no matter how adamant you are.
