I have lived in Tucson most of my adult life and I have seen the immigration problems, border problems, the horrible deaths of immigrants in the deserts and on the highways AND how Tucson already functions as a Sanctuary city and an underground railroad for illegals. Had the measure passed, it would have made Tucson the number one destination for anyone outside of the border wanting in. We are an hour's drive from the border.

Tucson is not just Liberal, it is deep blue. The fact that this proposition was defeated by nearly a 3 to 1 margin should send a message to the Democrats just how out of touch they are with their support of open borders and so-called "Sanctuary Cities". The law ties the hands of law enforcement and makes things worse for citizens. Even wacko Lefty Tucson gets it.
