Elon Musk can't make a Starship rocket that doesn't explode.
And he won't be able to, since the fundamental design is flawed, thanks to Musk meddling with it. Musk decided he had to have the entire rocket be landable and reusable, not just the booster stage.
Physics has a bone to pick with him there. Making a fully reusable heavy lift rocket is basically impossible.
Landing the booster is relatively easy. It's close to earth, slow moving, and nearly empty. Heat shielding is not a problem.
None of that applies to the part that reaches space. It's crazy heavy and crazy fast. It has to be reinforced and heat shielded to hell and back to survive, but that makes it too heavy to carry anything. So Musk tells them to cheap out on everything to save weight, and boom.
He's basically trying to remake the space shuttle, but suckier, with less capacity, and more prone to explode.
At this stage, Starship is just a government welfare program for SpaceX.
