What is the justification for giving stimulus money to people who haven't been financially affected by the Covid-19 virus? Government workers and welfare recipients continue to get their same income and benefits, so why should they be given extra money? Is it just to buy their votes?
That's a good question, because you basically have 3 classes of people that the Democrats now want to give an extra $2,000/mo to...
1. People that are still working, and bringing home a paycheck (and thus aren't affected)...
2. People that have been laid off, and (with the extra $600/wk added to their unemployment) are now making more by sitting at home than they did by working...
3. And, finally, Democrats that don't get a paycheck because THEY REFUSE TO WORK AND SUBSIST ON GOVERNMENT ASSISTANCE (WHICH HAS NOT BEEN CUT OFF)!!!
The only people who have been damaged are the small business owners and the people who are making generous salaries (who the Democrats don't want to help)!!!
