The document in question was not a study but rather internal CDC communications, between the CDC and other agencies, and can be exempt from public release.

A CDC spokesman confirmed to AAP FactCheck that the redactions made were under exemptions 5 and 6 of the FOIA.

The redacted report wasn’t about myocarditis post-vaccination.

No, ‘bombshell’ vaccine study was not redacted
