The affected group is still represented on a baseball team and they have as much duty to the cause as those in pro football. That is if the cause is valid and worthy of the disruption it brings to the sport. Of course if the cause is just a ruse to discredit a presidential election that didn't go their way then one can understand why people ask why the cause is not supported by the affected group across the board in other sports. It's obvious that the cause is not valid but the money involved is producing cowardice among ownership. Those players were endowed with the right to strike if they felt so strongly about the issue but that didn't happen. They acted to attempt to embarrass the president without risking anything and the greedy ownership let them get away with it. They should have been warned not to do it and then fired if they persisted just like Reagan fired the air traffic controllers.
