The last remaining Denny’s restaurant in San Francisco has closed its doors forever.

The restaurant owners claim that customers constantly ate and left the establishment without paying and that they got no support from the city. Denny’s now joins the ranks of dozens of companies that have pulled their retail outlets from the crime-ridden city.

The last Denny’s in Oakland, California closed their doors back in February, also because of crime.

Denny's got out when the getting out was possible.

San Fran City Council is looking to pass a law requiring stores looking to close give the city 6 months notice so that the stores themselves can find some other sucker to open up in the Rice a Roni City.

Residents of SF would be able to sue closed supermarkets who fail to follow the rules, for not providing a place for them to shoplift.

1. In broad daylight, a burglar breaks through the fence of a private house.
