I don't give a damn what anyone says, Pres G.W.Bush was a thousand times the Commander-in-Chief than the current one is. I know his haters here won't even bother to read this piece before attacking him – and I don't care. If those who care for our veterans can read this piece without tearing up a bit, I feel sorry for you.

I have read of Bush's visits to the wounded before. He made an effort to have it NOT be a media event.

It showed a moral courage that I don't know that many, including myself could match.
