Why do the left fabricate narrations so often, declaring them a reality?

Their feelings.

It's constant 24-7, and our stock market is one example. They hope and pray our market crashes, they long for validation and shared misery. In fact, evidenced by this board and more, the market has already crashed, cuz you know, cuz of Trump.

You'd think they learned from Trump's last tenure, from the Democrats since, but no, their feelings and desires are most important, and their feelings trump what's real. If they can, they'll push their dreams of misery enough to make it a reality.

The tallest the DOW has ever been was 45,000, which was December 2024, which was a reflection of Trump's election. Today it's 42,802. Where's the crash they long for?

Where were they when the market stalled for two years under Biden? Crickets.

Much of America is essentially operating in two separate, proprietary realities right now.

If an individual wants to believe that their reality is the correct one, great. Run with it. There are no longer any standards or penalties for being wrong. There is now media and available "information" that fully fits, confirms, validates and justifies anyone's worldview.

This split of realities is killing us. We don't appear to care enough to do anything about it, so we deserve what we get.

To get a handle on their childish mentality, you need only look at Ukraine.

They are so accustomed to believing their own lies -- their narration -- that they don't even bother with other world views. Their indoctrination, what they term, education; is in fact the root of their entire problem. They have the ONLY answer in their minds.

It is that childish attitude that leads them to believe they KNOW what is in the hearts and minds of others and therefore, they have no need to even bother talking to them.

Like Russia. It isn't that Russia is right or even wrong. It is that they don't care and won't even bother learning.

What's funny is that in the past when the Market goes up under Republicans they say, "Who cares about the rich getting richer?" Then when everything goes to shit under democrats but the stock market goes up they say, "Look how great the stock market is". Now they are cheering for the stock market to go down so they can use it against Trump, even though their claim would have been if the stock market goes down it only hurts the rich.

Then why don't you give up your reality? It isn't really justified by the world, and only confirmed by those who think just like you to the point that they have even attended the same Universities, classes, in some cased, even the same indoctrinators.

Obviously you don't know or understand my reality.

You're certainly free to enjoy yours.

.

They live in a fantasy world where they think they can fabricate what they want to see. If reality doesn't fit their idea of what they wish it was, they throw it out.

So a pack of lies is validation for the real world?

Nobody is hoping the stock market crashes.

Some people are predicting it, which is not the same thing at all.

One narrative is truthful (or at least far more so than the other).

The other narrative (the Dims’) is almost entirely dishonest and premised on lies, fallacies and mere emotionalism.

Living in fantasy land is not "quite" a mental illness, but it can become one if taken to extremes.

Lately, the Democrats have taken it to extremes.

I tried it when I was a teenager/young adult. Only made me unhappy when "reality" reared its ugly head..

I was a liberal/democrat then. Is anyone surprised?

No I am not,- there were loads of Baptist and other religious nuts in the Democratic party - now they seem to be ALL on MAGA cloud.

I have a theory. Just like we conservatives believe that our thinking and actions and proposals are good and virtuous (etc.), so too do our liberal pals (most, albeit not all of them) see their own thinking as being purer and so forth.

One of the reasons we tend to get so irritated with the stuff said by our opposing side’s rhetoric is because they don’t see things in a similar light.

For example, if personally don’t give a crap if some guy wants to believe that he is actually a she. But I do see the inclusion of biological males in women’s sports as being obviously unfair to the female competitors.

By contrast, the “thinking” of the other side is that it’s “unfair” to the biological males to discriminate against them when they seek to compete against actual women.

That’s a pretty substantive disconnect.

And it applies to a wide array of topics.

We can’t even agree on the basic premises of many syllogisms.
