I guess I'm a "birther". His long form was never released to the public. Even if it had been and even if it was proven he was born in Hawaii, that doesn't necessarily make him a native born American citizen. He went to school in Indonesia where his citizenship was listed as "Indonesian". He traveled to Pakistan after the age a majority when American's weren't allowed. It stands to reason he traveled on an Indonesian passport. Indonesia doesn't accept dual citizenship which means he gave up his American citizenship AFTER the age of majority. He himself has called himself a "citizen of the world"...I maintain we don't need a "citizen of the world" as our president, we need and American citizen as our president.
He said he visited all 57 states. How many states do we have? For the slow minded, we have 50, not 57. There are, however, 57 Islamic states, quite possibly he visited them all on his Indonesian passport. Ever wonder why he won't release his passport? Of course not..the Obama worshipers are as bad as the Bush worshipers. Some people just don't believe that "their" candidate can do any wrong.
So many things wrong with that, I don't know where to begin. He was born in Hawaii (which his birth certificate shows) and one of his parents was an American citizen. Under either standard (
jus soli or
jus sanguinis) of citizenship. He never traveled to Pakistan (no idea where that crazy idea came from), and even if he had, it wouldn't mean anything. There is also a travel ban on Americans entering Cuba, and yet people do it every year. Therefore, your claims that he had an Indonesian passport are purely invented. In fact, it would be impossible for Obama to have an Indonesian passport because they're only issued to citizens.
The 57 states comment was a slip of tongue (because I'm sure you've never misspoke). I said fifty instead of forty, referring to continental United States (noting he said he had one left to go, and there are 48 states in the continental United States). Furthermore, there are not 57 "Islamic states". The Organization of the Islamic Conference has 63 members (57 full members and 6 observers). If we want to talk about things involving the number 57, the statement was made during the primary and there are 57 Democratic primary contests (the 50 states, Washington DC, Guam, Virgin Islands, Democrats Abroad, American Samoa, Puerto Rico, and the Texas caucus (which is separate from the Texas primary)).
The reason he won't release his passport is because he's not going to bow to every demand made by crazies like you. He could provide photos of his birth, right there in Hawaii, and you'd claim the photos were doctored. You're already made up your mind that he's not a natural-born citizen, and no amount of evidence is going to persuade you.
