That was a question asked over and over again about the Secret Service. It was asked after the massive political operation within the FBI was discovered. The two people who finally did get fired are about to get a huge payoff, if Merrick Garland has his way with this sweetheart settlement deal:

These people got fired for wearing t-shirts:

But no one is being fired for leaving their post unguarded when it leads to the near death of a future president?

Strozk, Page, and that FBI person who falsified the email were fired, because their names were so public that the FBI had little choice. So the Harris-Biden administration's strategy is to make sure those names are never known. The name of the Secret Service Agent who was in charge at the Butler rally is not being release, "because he or she "is still operational," according to the FBI's new acting director.

"Still operational?" So, he or she still in charge of the protection of senior government members at large gatherings? Why are they not on administrative leave, at a minimum?

The agent in-charge said "NO" to the drone being offered, AND said "NO" to the radios that were offered to stay in contact with state and local cops. That person needed to be fired yesterday.

Trump was fired. Get over it.

Those weren't "real" lawsuits at all, just a scam to transfer millions to the FBI Lovebirds for doing the left's bidding against Trump.

of course they used the taxpayers' money for these massive payouts, but that's what libs do.

Hopefully the Trump Justice Department will scratch that money back and sue the DOJ officials who "negotiated" this scam, taking away their pensions.

What does that matter?

It is absolute bullshit that agents acting inappropriately are paid and agents that failed so bad they got someone killed are let off. Why would you protect them?

Democrats fail up. The bigger the **** up the more they’re promoted.

Democrats always change the subject.

The two FBI officials aren't getting a settlement because they were fired, they were getting on because confidential personnel action information was leaked to the public.

It's why employers never tell other employees why someone was fired.

I love how all of you idiots believe Trump wasn't violated their rights with his treatment of these two.

But this money is a drop in the bucket compared to what Donald Trump cost the nation with his border separation policy - $450 million.

The government cannot abuse employees at will. Trump just can't keep his big mouth shut when it comes to slandering people who "do him wrong".

Trump isn't going to do anything to these two. He's done quite enough already. That's why they're getting big payouts.

This is a problem with the Fed Govt, their "employee protections" are too strong. One of the things Trump did that I greatly approved of was making it easer to get rid of dead weight and poor preforming people....and it still is not easy.

The same reason nobody was fired from the Secret Service when Kennedy was killed even though they were drunk from the night before. Same reason nobody was fired from the FBI, NSA, or CIA when 3000 people died on 9/11. They said firing people would hurt morale.
