Read this today, all the way up through the second sentence or so. This guy says best economy in 50 years.

My question is, what's 2024 minus 2018? With a red House, Senate and POTUS BTW. You know, like come January?

Trump 2018:
Unemployment 3.89%
GDP: 2.93%
Misery Index (low is better): 5.80% (ave.)
Inflation Rate: 2.44%

Biden Current Conditions:
Unemployment 4.10%
GDP: 2.80%
Misery Index (low is better): 6.70
Inflation Rate: 2.60%

Food and energy don't count toward inflation, and you know, those costs doubled since Democrats took over. BTW, 2019 was stronger than our "50 year best economy" as well.

Sounds more like a USA Today story. I don't think Yahoo has writers.

Yahoo News is awful, as is their selection of third party news to highlight.

It is interesting to see how Leftists see the World every day. For balance, I go to Real Clear Politics every morning, to see both sides juxtaposed.

IF, and ONLY if, you would acknowledge the COVID had a huge affect on the World Wide Economies.

Are you willing to discuss this ^^^^ and only this at this moment?

In other words, they want you to forget how expensive food and energy have gotten. It's too "volatile" to be included in "core inflation", Core Inflation is a sneaky way for them to give us a bullshit alternative to the real inflation numbers.

We've had a constant barrage of Democrats and their media releasing inflation numbers which don't include food or energy and trying to sell these inflation numbers to the American people. A recent Bill Maher clip talked about Americans felt prices, crime, etc were bad and Kamla Harris basically said, "Fuck your feelings, look at this graph". And yet these people are told inflation is under control and then have to go to the grocery store, where they see first hand that inflation is NOT under control. Democrats are tone deaf and stuck in spin mode.

I am sure there is no shortage of BS articles on right-winger websites.

Inflation is currently 2.1% for the month

For the last 12 months it is 2.4%. Lower than precovid
You stupid or figure everyone else is?

Stupid?

My numbers are accurate asshole
You stupid or figure everyone else is?

PER LESH: Inflation is currently 2.1% for the month
REALITY: "As of November 13, 2024, the inflation rate in the United States was 2.6% for the 12 months ending in October 2024"

PER LESH: For the last 12 months it is 2.4%. Lower than precovid

REALITY: Wrong again, twice in one sentence.

The US Inflation rate for the months entering COVID were Dec. 2.3%, Jan, 2.5%., Feb. 2.3%, Mar. 1.5%. Since when is 2.6% less than any of those figures.

Additionally;

It's 3.03% for the 12 months ending in October 2024. Not 2.4% as you claim. The inflation rate average for 2019 was 1.8%, and 1.2% for 2020.

Because, just like you, people will cherry pick to show that what they want to believe is true.

Forget the fact that under Biden and Trump the economy was in a boom and bust cycle that will mean hardship for many poorer people. Last time, after Bush and Clinton, 7 million people lost their homes, income inequality increased.

No, let's just pretend a roaring economy is the best.

Here’s the link

Which you failed to provide

I noted a 12 month rate of 2.4% as of Sept. published in OCTOBER, moron

It has since ticked up slightly. That 2.4 rate was the result of a Sept rate of 2.1% (not shown in that chart but indicated because it drops the previous rate TO 2.4%. )

So what’s your point? Inflation is within decimals of where it was precovid jackass

You just can't help but lie, can you.

You lied. Your link doesn't do jack to support otherwise.

I dunno why they keep running with this line. You can literally go outside. Go to the store. Inspect the price tags on the things in the store. And deduce that they have become significantly more expensive. This gaslighting campaign is insane.

"The economy is actually the best ever, you're just having a psychotic episode and imagining that it's terrible!" "WHY IS FAITH IN THE MEDIA DECLINING!?!?!?!?"
