Why Bandera Hetmans pretend to be Ukrainians?

Although the Bolsheviks incorporated the Hetmanate into Ukraine, the Hetmans are not real Ukrainians and still do not know the Ukrainian language and culture. Why are they acting on behalf of the Ukrainians, why can't they act on their own behalf? Why did they steal the name and culture from the Poles-Ukrainians? Do they want to commit the genocide of Ukrainians quietly, so that no one would guess?
