Why are so many people in city hall and city planners are liberals?

I notice lot of people in city hall and city planners are liberals? They pushing mixed use projects or higher density or build mid rise residential or high rise residential. Lot of city hall and city planners are anti suburb, anti car.

I’m wondering why are they so liberal and anti suburb? Is it the schools that are teaching them really liberal? The schools telling them mixed use projects or higher density or build mid rise residential or high rise residential. The schools are anti suburb?

If it is the schools where are they getting that from? Is China giving lots and lots of money to liberal schools that are anti American pushing anti American to destroy the American culture? I could see China pushing anti suburb and anti car to destroy the American culture.

Conservtives don’t believe government should exist. They’re also incredibly paranoid

Those in government aren’t really all that liberal (I worked in public sector for decades). They just seem that way because they at least acknowledge the need for central planning.
