Pat Finucane was an effective defence solicitor who represented IRA members and loyalists accused of terrorist offences. A court previously ruled there was a failure to hold an "effective investigation" into his murder at the hands of loyalist paramilitaries.

Labour have just announced an enquiry into the murder of solicitor Pat Finucane.
He was a Sinn Fein solicitor who defended IRA prisoners against the British state.
Its generally accepted that he was murdered by loyalist paramilitaries in collusion with the British state.
So he was murdered in our name.
I would like to think we will get heads on sticks but I doubt it very much.
