Red State! Amen.
I’m sure this is not an experience limited to only me.

I’m curious about who else, here, has made the difficult decision to travel back in time to personally alter its future thereby making the present a better thing for all.

(I’d consider having the preceding sentence taken out back and shot before dawn, but I’m not a huge supporter of Capital Punishment. Lower case, maybe. But not capital.)

Anyway, in addition to all the prepping and priming, one must also be prepared to deal with a present which is different than one’s memories. You’ll notice it. But those living in the present won’t realize that it’s different. Hey. I don’t make the rules. I just report them.

There are also similar but more dire prospects. Like, for example, when I went into the past to change its future thereby altering the present, I easily could have been accidentally “Un-alived” at some temporal point in between the past that I entered and the present I ended-up in. Of course, if that had happened, I wouldn’t be here to notice it. But since I am here to notice that I am here, I had to conclude that the altered past didn’t kill me.

As one might expect, I had my reasons for seeking to change the present. It worked, too. In this version of the present, we have Donald Trump as the President of the United States of America. (You’re all welcome, by the way.)

If you decide to obtain all the equipment and tools for a trip to the past, in order to change the present, and if you’re prepared for all the sacrifices and the distinct prospect of dying back in the past, my question for all of ya’ll is this:

What might lead you to travel back in time (despite all the costs, sacrifices and risks) to change the present?

While it is completely impossible for anyone to travel back and forth in time, the concept is always interesting.
If I could travel back in time more than once, I would go back and unlike many who claimed they would go back and kill Hitler, I wouldn't. I would simply abduct him as a baby (all the privacy issues we have now, didn't exist back then, so finding him would be fairly easy). Once abducted, I would simply give him to a rural family in the United States. End of problem and no one had to die.

Are you responsible for all of this leftist insanity because of that grain of sand you moved on your last excursion into the past?

Great question. It’s like the infamous “butterfly effect.”

In an entire universe full of endless permutations and combinations of altered timelines, the trick is to set limits on such consequences via strict algorithms.

I guess maybe I should have used that algorithm.

Note: I am NOT a recreation of Lord Long Rod. That username has already been taken by another writer here.

I wouldn’t use such a dishonest moniker anyway. …. 😢

Don’t ask.

I'm not sure if you can change the past. There may not even be a single "past".

Your time machine may be just a way of branching to different timelines.

I wouldn't try and fix the political stuff. I would go back and mend relationships that didn't end well. I'd certainly improve my financial and professional positions for sure. One thing in particular that I still think about. It wouldn't have really changed the future but it would have left things with my girlfriend in my senior year of high school much better off. We had a mutual friend, a female of course, who unknown to us was attempting to sabotage our relationship by telling lies to her about me and doing things to make me mad. Turned out that after we broke up and she wouldn't speak to me, the friend's reason came to light after we graduated. The friend wanted to break us up so she could get me to be her boyfriend. LOL!!! Of course, if I go back and stop that from happening, maybe the friend loses her mind and kills the both of us.

Similar here but it was family the problem on both sides.I would get acareer going and just married her anyway! Which is what the man she married years later told me he did, just ingored what anyone said and just did it. They are happy in their life even though family still has an attitude. I am happy for them 100% .

The Butterfly Effect

Misinterpretations of the butterfly effect

It is sometimes debated whether the popular understanding of the butterfly effect is accurate. When people use the term, they often refer to the idea that small things inherently lead to big consequences, but this interpretation diverges slightly from Lorenz’s original concept—that complex systems are unpredictable because they are extremely sensitive to changes in initial conditions.

ssshhhhh. We aren't supposed to let on. Besides, there are a couple of Time Lords watching this century, and you don't want that kind of trouble, believe you me.

If any of them are also USMB modulators, I’m screwed.

Universe does not work the way you imagine ,
It is impossible to travel back in time .

A past "Eternal now " is just that , and remains as such unto Eternity .

However the Event Stream ( the future) can be changed through Manifestation .

Prayer is a very simple form of Manifestation for beginners.
And Jesus the Essene monk did give a near complete guide for it in the Gospel of St Thomas -- over a 100 different sayings attributed to him .

No wonder Constantine and his Elite made sure it would never be part of the Cult Christian Bible .

You cannot have Sheeplets knowing that they can change the Event Stream .
