I’m sure this is not an experience limited to only me.
I’m curious about who else, here, has made the difficult decision to travel back in time to personally alter its future thereby making the present a better thing for all.
(I’d consider having the preceding sentence taken out back and shot before dawn, but I’m not a huge supporter of Capital Punishment. Lower case, maybe. But not capital.)
Anyway, in addition to all the prepping and priming, one must also be prepared to deal with a present which is different than one’s memories. You’ll notice it. But those living in the present won’t realize that it’s different. Hey. I don’t make the rules. I just report them.
There are also similar but more dire prospects. Like, for example, when I went into the past to change its future thereby altering the present, I easily could have been accidentally “Un-alived” at some temporal point in between the past that I entered and the present I ended-up in. Of course, if that had happened, I wouldn’t be here to notice it. But since I am here to notice that I am here, I had to conclude that the altered past didn’t kill me.
As one might expect, I had my reasons for seeking to change the present. It worked, too. In this version of the present, we have Donald Trump as the President of the United States of America. (You’re all welcome, by the way.)
If you decide to obtain all the equipment and tools for a trip to the past, in order to change the present, and if you’re prepared for all the sacrifices and the distinct prospect of dying back in the past, my question for all of ya’ll is this:
What might lead you to travel back in time (despite all the costs, sacrifices and risks) to change the present?
