My point is meant to be serious. Yes, we are all humans. But in terms of understanding human conflict, to say that we're all just people is monumentally unhelpful. That's like an astronomer saying, well, they all twinkle and they're all in the sky, what else do I need to know?
Human groups are very real forces, and operate in concert with individuals. People group by family, by region, by class, by religion, by company, by alma mater, by tribe --- tons of things. Of all these, race and ethnicity are huge, mostly because they are actual biological groupings, as geneticists have determined. That your race is like an extended family --- literally --- means you will naturally be more loyal to it than to outsiders. In places where different races co-exist, this has HUGE consequences that we cannot ignore by saying, "Ah, get over it, ya big racists!"
Even if YOU can ignore this, others cannot. I do not believe that racial regard is the result of either moral weakness or lack of information. In fact, the opposite is often true. It's a fact of nature that we have to deal with.
Dealing with it responsibly means acknowledging and understanding it, not necessarily trying to get "rid" of it, especially if you can't, and it's got uses in any event. What liberals call "racism" is in fact not altogether unrelated to the same human instincts that cause us to protect our children, defend our spouses, and respect our parents. I believe racial loyalty is natural, good and moral (within limits), and that it is the ESSENCE of true conservatism.
Respecting a nation's sovereignty is what I support. And the real "nations" are the blood people who make them up. Saying we're all humans is like saying the U.S. is like any other country, or that we're all one world. The multiracial marxists are just pushing racial one-worldism, and it is not good.
Truly, you make National Socialism almost seem noble.
It is true that there exists a certain amount of racial consciousness, evidenced by the contempt with which I find many of your ideas. My racial consciousness manifests itself as surfacing knowledge that a previous world leader who espoused the greatness of the white race later pushed his armies of death across my grandmothers land. Were the blond haired, blue eyed, white skinned Poles just not white enough? What gives one group of people the right to kill another? Might? Power does not give one the right to do something, only the ability.
Unfortunately for you the ancient concepts of tribe, blood people, and nation do not apply to the United States of America. The Poles may have carved out for themselves a piece of land and called it Poland, the Swiss Switzerland, the Rus Russia, but that is not how the United States of America came to be. The United States of America has since its inception been a haven for people of any ethnic group or religion, not a tribe of people with a closely related genetic heritage.
The United States is not a naturally formed human group, it is the greatest experiment ever attempted with respect to sociology. Though one can make generalizations concerning it, the description of the United States of America is not constrained by boundaries like race, color, or creed.
You claim to respect the sovereignty of nations but I believe you wish to define for yourself what constitutes the sovereignty of the United States of America. That is not respect. It is in fact a disregard for the tradition upon which the United States of America was built.
Furthermore, though it may be true that the long history of human conflict is almost entirely one between two or more races, it is the
concept that is 'the United States of America' that this need no longer be so, that it is possible for people of any heritage to peaceably coexist with one another.
If you are constrained by the ideas of race comfort yourself with the fact that the United States of America was the product of white people as a gift to all humanity. If however you find that you must work towards a white nation you can support, the United States of America is not, and never will be, the place where your ideals can become realized. Perhaps somewhere in Europe you will find what you seek, though the weakness of secular socialism has created a husk of the strength that was once the glory of the white race.
It is not white culture that any American should seek to protect but American culture. Liberty, freedom, democracy, tolerance; these are the characteristics that make the culture of the United States of America superior to the culture of any individual race. Though it may not be that we have always as a nation achieved with purity these ideals at all times, it is towards that goal of pure realization of our ideals that we have constantly and should forever strive.
