MANY MANY MANY people showed up with boats--private individuals--it's a bit much to expect them to face AK-47 fire to do it.

I don't think anyone was left unrescued intentionally. Although it could have been better, I have seen no instance where someone was left there because of thier skin color or there lack of intelligence.
A lot of the weapons used against the rescuers were illegally obtained or looted. Guns don't kill innocnet people--assholes with guns kill innocent people

NAAAAAAAa not the libs---they never will get anything right---I was thinking about your average Joe who saw what happened with his own eyes--not a big political movement--just average people who realize that it might be in thier best interest to have a weapon for protection. It will be interesting to see what happens to gun sales in the next few months.

What the white tourists did in the superdome was impressive. They got everyone together formed a barrier and escorted the women to the bathroom and to the food lines. They took care of people they didn't even know.

Why didn't the lawabiding black people do the same?? Women being raped in a public place people listening to that going on, why didn't they stop it. One report said a man couldn't stand listening to it anymore and went for help. ONce again why go looking for help, he could have been the help.
