Which rock and roll trios are the best ever?

Mostly Grand Funk was a trio, but I laid off.
I like(d) some of Grand Funk's music. "We're An American Band", "Some Kind Of Wonderful", their cover of "Locomotion", "Bad Time" and "Closer To Home" are classics and I still enjoy hearing them today.
Incidentally, "I'm Your Captain (Closer To Home)" is the official title of the Grand Funk song.

SRV is not a trio, bro. Moar Grand Funk!

You have no idea, they were so much more.
Au contraire, Duke, Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double Trouble WERE a trio. Look it up.
That's fine. To this day, he was a helluva showman, he simply just oozed it.
I find a good SRV in a minute. Right now I found this:
Oh crap, there's a kb player here. Owait, that's the same dude, safe!

Not a trio, e'erbody joined in.

Good SRV, though.
Safe enough to say he earned the respect of the elders.

Oh! I yam jealous.

No clue who the white guy is.
Mmm, B. B.

Yeah, Stevie Ray was good.
