I haven't watched mainstream, legacy, propagandized, lopsided, "fake" news for several years. I watch a number of YouTube channels to get a well rounded view of current events -- both nationally and globally. I don't put all my eggs in one basket. Here's a short list of some of the channels I watch pretty routinely:

Pick up to three choices.

The New York Times is an American Institution and is the one of the last, or the only, major American news institution with the scale and resources to do consistently deep, independent reporting across a wide range of subjects. ProPublica, Reuters, AP, The Wall Street Journal, the Washington Post, NPR, and some strong local investigative nonprofits also do serious independent reporting.

Most of the OP reporting sources is geared to entertain and influence not inform and investigate. Its sad what people have turned into. A democracy requires an educated and informed populace. We have an uneducated and misinformed populace.

So, basically, you're steeped in a tea of alt-right media daily. Conspiracy theories, right leaning opinions, always searching for that one podcast that will give you "the truth". When none of them do. Forbes is about the closest you listed here as a source I'd trust.
This is why I consider podcasts a cancer. They are just opinions. Opinions are like a certain bodily orifice. Everybody got one.

None of the above

I only get my news from the Babylon Bee, cuz it is the only fake news you can trust.

Seems like everyone and their brother has a podcast.
I don't understand the appeal.

Yeah ... their memes are awesome (most of the time). Glad you're staying up to date.

Predominantly I pick up on news from the more reliable(non biased)citizen journalists/podcasters(see below). I also search our USMB posts for topics/info. Our USMB crew generally appear to me to @ least research their links & more often than not back up their posts with @ least one or more links/vids.

The dated link above is from T-SPLY(one of hundreds). He predominantly specializes on covering events that happen within the greater Portland Oregon area ESPECIALLY the ICE facility. He is very factual & reports with a cut & dried attitude. He does operate with up to two other people that provide him with live coverage from the streets.

Below; Cash Jordan operates in New York city. His reporting/coverage appears factual for sure. For me his STYLE of reporting I find really holds my interest. T-SPLY on the west coast Cash Jordan on the east coast. Two different styles of reporting & two major cities with very SIMILAR problems due to the progressives policies(failures). Check them out if interested, just two of many podcasters available.

The funny thing is, half of what they post eventually comes true

It's almost like watching the Simpsons.

I don't watch TV. I even downloaded a few shows a while back and haven't watched those. I do watch some left leaning youtube channels, I don't really like them, but you can get information from them, if you ignore all the guff.
