So I'm looking at the USMB threads and once again, there are endless threads about Obama being a socialist or not an American. Every story more outrageous than the one before it.

And nowhere are there any threads about what Republicans think they could do to "help" this country. To create jobs. To improve our infrastructure. Is there anything they don't want to tear down?

Not exactly. What YOU said (in your first brief paragraph) was that "they" are best described as "Anti-" Obama. And I agreed. I don't limit it to just Republicans, though. Like, for example, I am not a Republican, but I steadfastly oppose almost everything sought by Obama.

Perhaps the Republicans don’t see government as the solution to every problem; as Ronald Reagan said “The nine most terrifying words in the English language are, 'I'm from the government and I'm here to help.'” To help the country and create jobs, maybe the answer is simply get out of the way and let the system work.

There have NEVER been 46 million that want and are legally eligible for insurance!
1) 18 million of the "46 million" don't want health insurance as they are under 34, make over $50k and spend less then their employer share!

6TH pay a $5,000 premium for each of the 4 million truly uninsured!
7th The when hospitals see this "uninsured" they register and send claims to the insurance company AND NOT pad and pass sometimes ath
6,000% markup to Medicare/insurance companies...again adding to the costs!

There is the solution!
Admit there are less the 4 million!
Tax lawyers $200 billion a year at 10%
Use the $20 billion to cover the 4 million truly uninsured.

DON"T destroy health care for the rest of us!
