Strange thing about group think or ''consensus'', it really defines religious belief, not science That's why religious belief tends to be societal and cultural while science is not.

It's a strange thing; scientific theories and principles like Darwinian theory, gravity, biological evolution, etc., don't operate differently based upon societal and cultural proclivities. Last I heard, gravity and biological evolution operate in pretty much the same measure in the northern hemisphere as the southern.
