With President-elect Donald Trump's recent announcement of former surgeon-turned-TV host Dr. Mehmet Oz to lead the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), questions are swirling about whether changes could be coming to the government programs. So, what should we expect?
1. Any questions or problems with Medicare in the future, do not follow the Yellow Brick Road to seek an audience with Oz. No trespassing signs have been placed, so you have been warned. Besides, you should be ignoring the man behind the curtain anyway.
2. Do not feed the winged Monkeys. Also, don't ask the winged Monkeys for any favors, like asking them to please fly me the hell out of this place back to Kansas where I might find some decent health care coverage. They have all sworn an allegiance to the Great man Oz after all.
3. Do not apply for Medicare to help replace a heart or a brain, and not even to seek courage as these things are all on shortage currently and will be on back order indefinitely. You guessed it, the Covid shortages continue.
4. The Wicked Witch, Kamala Harris, has bankrupted Medicare. The Biden administration via his Inflation reduction act, has diverted nearly $260 billion from the projected Medicare ‘savings’ to pay for special interest handouts like large tax credits for costly electric vehicles, enormous subsidies paid to big health insurer-PBM corporations, and funding health care programs for illegal immigrants,” But on the bright side, the global temperature should be reduced by 0.000000000000000000009374 degrees. Yay.
But yea, it will be Trump's fault when you go for medical help and find out there is none to be found for you, duh!!!
All we can say is, those depending on government for health care, good luck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh, and avoid the winged monkeys at all cost.
